The fact that you think having a decently rounded vocabulary means that I'd have to consult a thesaurus to accurately depict the nature of your most loathing quality speaks volumes about your own diction. But of course, someone who has to steep to using emoticons and a frustratingly unintelligent tone to avoid owning up to their mistakes probably isn't much of a wordsmith in the first place. Likewise, someone who contends with nothing publicly but #modabuse and banter really overstates whatever unpopularity he has associated with himself to an enormous extent. And that's really the case: you're a popular moderator who often makes the right choices in moderation and communicates with the community casually and frequently. While I'm well aware of whatever stresses and frustrations arise from being a moderator, the truth is that they are generally minimized in a case such as yours. So please, don't regurgitate platitudes about the position being harsher than an outsider could wrap their head around; it just comes off as a pitiful attempt at seeming wise. And because of your popularity and position on this website, a large majority of people prefer to ignore your inability to admit fault unless it isn't your own.

Being serious here for a moment. You should get to know someone before trying to cut into them, cause none of this does anything to me due to the fact that I have no idea what you're talking about. You know the old saying, "making assumptions makes an ass out of you and me". Pretty much why your attempt with Tru fell flat on it's face and why it falls flat with me.

Also I understand everything you're saying, it's just a preference of mine to say the same thing, but in less time and in a manner that's more easily digestible for for the every man. That and I think using big, long, and confusing looking words for the sake of it kinda makes you look pretentious. There's a time and a place for them, but a backwater internet gaming forum isn't either imo.

Also let me do some surgery on the thread.

I wouldn't really consider the idea that you kind of avoid owning up to be inaccurate; I've seen it brought up a few times before. And, in the last year that I've been here, no real situation in which you've legitimately faced backlash from the community comes to mind. And my speech isn't intentional; blame my alt+tab to stacks on stacks in Word and my ashamedly overly complicated vernacular. Being concise isn't my strong suit, and I'll try to make a conscious attempt to remedy that in the future.

Alright, now that there's a soapbox platform for me to spout my bothersome drivel, here we go.

Tell me, what are these frustrations, that is if you care to explain.

Shortish version: I take relationship-related matters really seriously, and implying that a super-majority of my history with Verb is anything but stressful and enraging makes me foam at the mouth a wee bit.

Less shortish version: I met Verb in a hole in the wall called Coup d'Bungie. To make matters briefish, we butted heads often over topical, personal, and issues relating to the rules that other moderators and myself often nagged Verb on or that made him angry. I ended up leaving the community a few times over week-spanning arguments with him, to give a little insight. Verb and I being on amicable terms is a relatively new thing is what I'm saying, and whatever arguments we have nowadays are usually cinders from cold arguments. The age-spanning fondness associated with "old couples" being associated with that really irks me.

Secondly, I have a tendency to take matters relating to my relationships very personally. I'm not really going to delve into my issues with them, but it'll suffice to say that trust isn't my strong suit. For one, I will outright say that despite any friendly interactions I have with people on the internet, I would not consider a single one my friend and much less do I care for internet-relationships that could be misinterpreted as romantic. Given my earlier predispositions against trust and history with verb, combined with my unreasonably strict views on how to define relationships in general, even the unintended implication that Verb and I are like an old couple makes me see in a strobe-light of red and pink.

I guess, now that I think about it, it's more than just my history with Verb and muh issues. It's a tad because I greatly respect long lasting romantic relationships of that caliber; implying my acquaintance with Verb is like that is just outright disrespectful to that notion.

That's entirely my fault. I have a bad habit of bottling up my emotions until the water-tower explodes. Mostly because I always feel a bit guilty when I talk about myself, and I don't like making things about "me". Like right now, I wouldn't be bothering with this if I didn't feel like I honestly needed to explain this to you and Yu hadn't asked.

In truth, it bothers me a good bit. It'll never be "busy road"-tier, I can promise that right now; you haven't ever intended to honestly provoke me in saying that, and that's partly why it upsets me so much. I just started nipping at Elcie because of being stupid and thinking it would help me vent a wee bit.

Id read a book about your everyday observations.

I'm afraid that would be pretty uninteresting. Those responses were purposefully mean sounding; I don't have any strong inclinations toward Tru or LC in either direction. If my observations were a book, it'll be a serious of short descriptors. Not much point in reading that.
