Prepare for Offline Mode

This is just a reminder that tonight (actually tomorrow morning at 1AM CST) the forum will be offline for a couple hours while we move to our more permanent home.

Also, longface makes creepy fan fictions, so if you're into that kind of thing...

Anyway, just don't freak out if you get an error early tomorrow morning. This should not take long to do and after it's done we should not need to move again (I hope). If we get too large, the current host can move us to a VPS.

You're probably getting a shit ton of money from the NRA since nearly half of my ads are coming from them haha :p

Out of pocket for now, but once the ad money comes in in a few weeks I'll reimburse myself.

The payment per click varies, depending on the traffic and how many of those people are clicking ads. We've made enough through advertisements that we can stay afloat for a few months without any more ad money coming in.

In about a half hour I'll be putting the forum into maintenance mode while I move the site. It'll be down for a few hours, but the trial run on one of the backups went smoothly, so I don't anticipate any problems.

You're posting on the new host right now, but other people might be seeing the old site (which is turned off) because the address is the same (sep7agon.net) but the IP addresses are different.

Think of it like an outdated map taking you to the wrong street.
