They say everyone has their vices. But you're the type of person who uses that as a defense, rather than a point of information.You are... egregiously human. You're very open, which is commendable, but you're... only selectively open, I've found. That is to say, some of the things you choose to be open about are things that I'd be much better off... not knowing (some stuff in IRC comes to mind; I doubt you know what I'm talking about). I've talked about how much I appreciate having someone who I can discuss practically anything with without being considered weird--well, without you openly judging me and shutting me down, I should say. In the past, however, I felt like... it was a lot more difficult to just have a regular, human conversation with you. I couldn't really get a lucid answer out of you if I asked you how your day was, or how you're feeling, or even the dreaded "what's up". Now we can actually have a little bit of discussion over stuff like that without you... shutting yourself out, I guess. I think this is a matter of trust--it may not have been as pleasant to speak with me in the past enough to be willing to talk about minutiae. But that's kinda the crux here--you've stated this yourself, and I do view it as a problem. You don't trust people in general. It's understandable that you don't, and I was the same way. I grew out of that mentality, however. You seem to have this new philosophy where you have no strong feelings towards any one person here, because it takes too much energy? I mean, that's something you never really had before, and I wouldn't necessarily say it takes too much energy to hate someone--at all, lol--but I think that was a big step for you, in terms of maturity and, most importantly, trust.
