A lock-in?

Quote from: Mr Psychologist on July 24, 2015, 07:32:59 PMA lock-in?A lock-in is when a pub is officially "closed" and the doors are locked to stop people entering, but still serve drinks to those already inside for an extra hour or so.Technically illegal (something about serving alcohol past certain times, blah blah blah), but fuck they are good fun. At least, I hope that's what he's referring to and I haven't mixed up the words.

Have you recorded anything yet and if so, how much experience do you have? Me and the drummer from the band I'm in just recorded our parts for a new song yesterday.

Doesn't stop them though, the laws are hardly enforced regarding this (and depending on how rural you are, the legal drinking age is... "lenient" by several years too). Now I'm really clueless as to what Rocketman is doing if it isn't a true lock-in. Rocketman, what sort of lock-in is this?

I've been working on a single for a few months, just waiting on my coworker to fix his computer and finish it. It's basically the first song I've made that's full band, with electric guitars and drums and what not.Im very impressed with it though. Not showing off in it much, I just want it to sound good.

The one that I did is our third song we've recorded and I think it will be the best one yet. None of us have the equipment/know how to record our own stuff so we went into a studio.
What will you do if it's revealed that the Jews are right and Jesus wasn't God's son?
I've never heard of one just for a football team though
Problems with studios are money and time.
Quote from: Rocketman287 on July 25, 2015, 07:49:45 PMProblems with studios are money and time.Money wasn't an issue for me because our 'manager' (my bass teacher) and the singer paid for it. Time wise, I find that if you know your part, it doesn't take long at all to record it. It took us about 2 hours to get ours done including the setup time.
