Well at least you're going somewhere.
Quote from: Aether on May 14, 2016, 08:55:43 PMWell at least you're going somewhere. What do you mean by this?
I mean that at least your life isn't in stasis like mine, heading in absolutely no direction at all.

It's going to cost a shit ton to fix this thing, and with money I don't actually have.
Pickle Barrel
What's it like driving a 90's vette? I had thoughts of getting one to go joy riding in if I had the money to spare for one.
QuoteIt's going to cost a shit ton to fix this thing, and with money I don't actually have.To me what is going to suck is that even if you had the money to fix it, you're still going to spend a lot on fixing up an old vehicle. You have to decide between fixing up an old vehicle which you liked or using that money to save up for something newer which would be better in the long run. Either way you'e going to end up screwing yourself over in some way.
Well that's why she doesn't want you to talk to her sister.

The Corvette was technically my first car too but I had already been driving other cars for like 6 months beforehand, and I had been driving my dad's Corvette for awhile with him in the passenger seat.My father tries to spin it as "you let your inexperienced brother drive your car in these conditions, so you're going to pay for the damages." Yet he's the one who gave him the keys...It's just a whole situation right now.

If your dad gave him the keys, he should pay up. He chose to be responsible by taking your choice to lend the car to your inexperienced brother.
