I think hunting is pretty idiotic. I do not see it as a sport or anything. Hunting out of necessity and survival is one thing, but in our current society you can go to a store and buy food.
But in the end, every example you gave has a positive effect and use for us. What do you gain out of going and killing a dear for the purpose of "lol I killed a deer"
