I had the hang of sentences at three.

I made a point as a child to not stutter like my peers when reading and by third grade, the tests administered in school said I had a college level comprehension of reading.

That was at eight.

It took my younger brothers a lot longer and I always assumed they were special needs or something because of that.

So am I wrong in saying that a ten year old should be able to read like an adult, and that it definitely shouldn't take you until that age to be able to form a proper sentence?

You don't think everyone doesn't understand the word urethra, lets try mortgage? How about discrimination, sure you can probably pronounce it, but do you know what the fuck it is? The answer is no, kids probably should know what a mortgage is, it'll drive them into a quick depression because they'll never own a house.

Thus knowing and understanding that means you can then write and read (comprehensively) adult sentencing. Sure anyone by that age should make a neat sentence, and hopefully a bit of proper grammar, but that's not my point. My point is why the fuck would that matter if you don't understand the damn words your reading.

Oh and some people can't help the fact they stuttered, I stuttered and it pissed me the fuck off, and I could read out loud in class properly myself, until my mouth said fuck you and took a break.
