I hope Flee can explain this on account that his native language (assumptions) is Dutch. So many of the words are also said like how they are in German, so reading them is pretty easy. But once I get to writing it, I just think "What the fuck is this shit!?". Here are some examples...

Frau turns into Vrouw. Which are said pretty much the same, but that SPELLING.

Jung turns into Jong. Which gets really fucking confusing since it's also said the same way despite the fact that the U becomes an O for no reason.

And moeglich turns into "mogelijk". There is so much wrong with that crap, it's unbelievable.

This is the tip of the iceberg when it comes to retarded changes of spelling that are easy to read but impossible to write down.



Do any of you nigger faggots have any answers to this question? And if you don't, then just say languages which you think which have especially retarded spellingisms which make them really freaking hard to write.

Sure you have some different letter groupings to make the same sounds but apart from that it's not really that bad <.<

The Scandinavian languages has actually been simplified a lot during the years, I believe. We don't have the sch's and such. There's hardly a lot of unnecessary letters in Swedish, like silent vowels and such. The silent vowels are mainly in words borrowed from French or English.

A little, I understand it very well though, my mother always speaks to her parents in it, and thats once every week, so the understanding has sunk in. I cant speak it well at all, but they talk about something and I'm generally on track, its weird.

See how similar, yet different the two languages are? Assuming that "naar de" has the same meaning as "zum" that is. But still. I always get tempted to learn Dutch, but its spelling is so off-putting, and I don't wanna get distracted from studying German.

Or maybe Dutch has a lot of false friends from German.... That'd suck hardcore balls.
