Quote from: Assassin 11D7 on February 17, 2015, 02:21:47 PMDisney isn't canonRegardless of whether we like the new canon or not, it is nonetheless the universe that all content henceforth will be based upon, the EU isn't going to receive any new material. I say that instead of assuming it's terrible, and never even giving it a chance, we with old our judgment for a bit, whilst still remaining skeptical. The EU had it's flaws, too. We need to give the new universe some time to form.

You're just going to purposefully not enjoy any new Star Wars content? That doesn't sound too fun. Yeah, there was some great stuff in the EU, like Thrawn, but there was also a lot of bad, that didn't really fit Star Wars. Also, they have been salvaging the better elements of the EU, who's to say we won't get Thrawn, etc. back? I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't see how blatant obstinence is going to do anything, might as well enjoy new Star Wars content as it arrives.
