Then my cable box started to make this weird mechanical sound. The cable box has been off for a couple of hours now and so has the tv.

I don't know how to describe the sound other than it sounding mechanical. I thought it was a bug at first but there is no way a bug would make that type of sound. It would speed up and then slow down. I got my phone to record it but as soon as I did that, the noise stopped and that kinda freaked me out.

I'm pretty sure its nothing more than a technical issue with the box but still, that sound was a little creepy and it stopping as soon as I was going to record it just makes me even more curious.
