I was rigged to lose a German spelling bee tonight by being given the hardest word when it came down to me and a girl.  The TA said it was so it didn't drag on.

having a girlfriend basically had me lose 2 friendships, either permanently or temporarily. worth it.

My body is eating itself from the inside out and dying week by week. In all due likelyhood within a couple months, hell, at the rate it's moving, maybe even one month, I'll be hospitalized to be taken care of so that I die in relative comfort as I won't be able to take care of myself on my own as every last part of my bodily functions break down.

And I'm going to do all this having lived alone my entire life and never having once met a single person who emparts the amount of love or care I try to do on a relatively consistent basis.

I understand what it is to be and feel utterly alone with no friends in sight and nothing but the world seemingly holding daggers at your backside around every corner. I'd like to find that other lost soul and do for them what was never done for me because I have it in my ability to do so. I want to give that to somebody. I want to make their world right and pleasant and show them that it's not all shit and that it doesn't have to be.

I have, and had the ability to be a human being beyond what I was raised in, what I should have turned out to be. A scummy piece of shit. The irony being that I get to die alone as if I were a scummy piece of shit anyway.

I did everything. Everything I could to be better. Everything I could to make the world around me better for the people around me. And it's this. I die alone feeling like I was never good enough for that one, singular person to look at me and decide I was somebody worth caring about and having in their life for the rest of it. 

It's funny how the simple things are such a fucking pain in the ass to get. GG world.

You know how you lie to yourself and pretend everything's going to be ok, but you know in the back of your mind, it isn't? Then there's that moment. That one moment where you have to face the facts.

That's the worst part.

In hindsight it's not solely terrible. Think about it. Let's say you were dying. But you had a close person to you. How do you think you'd deal with hurting them unintentionally through the process of having them watch you fall apart, not by choice? Personally, I don't think I could do that to somebody I was so close to. I'd drive them away before I let them see it beat me.

On a flipside, being a dead man walking has perks. I'm suddenly free of a lot of responsabilites and expectations. Having to plan or worry about my future, my life? That's gone. I could do any number of things before I go. Little to no strings attached.

I could snort cocaine for breakfast and it wouldn't matter at this point.

Unless you mean I'm just a scummy person who's in denial. If that's the case, well meme'd friend.

What I say is go have some fun. Go wild. There's nothing that can happen to you that isn't already happening.

I care more about the people still around me and what's going to happen to them after I'm gone than any mess I could throw myself into. I could probably be having fun right now. But it wouldn't suit me. Not at the expense of others. So instead I'm going to cover them and set them up for the time after I'm gone.

My new glasses received a few scratches from dropping two inches onto my desk with only the force of gravity.

I accidentally hit a cat about a week ago and I cried like a bitch.

My cousin plugged the sewer system with her tampons two days following that, and it was a $1,100 repair.

I have scar tissue near a nerve right around my ribs, and sometimes I get paranoid I'm having heart problems when the pain flares up.

i ran out of those little toothpicks with the frilly plastic on the end and i don't see them at the store
