There has never been a Tsukihime anime.

Though that remake will take 20 years to be made and translated unless Nasu sees Steam is an accessible way to show it to western audiences.

Hopefully the steam thing happens though since more Japanese devs are starting to release their VNs in the west on that platform.

Most VN's have been shit so far, but there are a few good ones on steam. They should know they have a western audience too considering Fate/Extra sold more to the west than Japan.

Fate/Extra was pretty light on dialogue in comparison and IIRC Fate/Extra CCC is almost like a proper Nasu light novel. That's gotta be a bitch and a half to translate, not to mention the cost.

However Type-Moon found that there weren't any eroge companies in the west that could afford a high profile license like Fate so the project was scrapped. If eroge was more accepted in the west Type-Moon could have established itself here back in 2005 and we could have been getting direct in house translations at this point instead of having to rely either on fan translators or on translation companies to cobble together funds.
