I moved out last week and now I've realised that I honestly have no idea what to do in regards to food. I'm honestly not quite sure what I've made for dinner for the past two weeks.
My week has honestly been reaaaally protagonist-yThe first two days I had the place to myself, on Sunday my neighbour who cooks for a living invited me to a dinner at his place for a meal with his wife or something on Friday. On the second day of the week a girl came to my store and said she wanted to hang out with me, so I gave her my phone number. On the third day my friend said he wanted to hang out on Friday and play video games. Now on the fourth day while on my way to get a haircut after work I met up with an old friend I haven't seen in like 3 years, so I got his number so we can hang out in a bar or something. I got a fucking sexy haircut, oh and I turned 19 yesterday. Birthday thing with some family on Saturday.

You just make lunch for two, put it in the fridge or freezer, then heat it up for dinner.

I'm honestly not quite sure what I've made for dinner for the past two weeks.Learn some recipes that look tasty, and shop them in advance. Know what you'll want to eat for the next week, you don't necessarily even have to know which days. Breakfast is a little easier.I just keep cereal, eggs, and some type of breakfast meat around and eat what I want depending on how I feel when I get up. Replenish supply as needed.Keeping deli meats and cheeses, fresh veggies, and a loaf of bread is paramount. Not a bad idea to keep some snacks lying around, either. When I first moved out I lived on frozen food and takeout, which was a huge mistake.

Plus, I can pretty easily get distracted and forget stuff so I basically have to sit there for an hour to make sure I don't do anything. Also the last time I tried cooking anything without help it went terribly - tasted pretty bad and ended up with one of my pan lids melting because someone turned one of the hobs on (I hadn't been using it, I just put the thing on there because I thought it was off). So I guess I'm just looking for excuses not to when I can just put something in the microwave for five minutes and go back to something interesting.
