parents went to mackinac island for my sister's birthday yesterday and they didn't even tell me

there was a line at the printers which caused me to be 2 minutes late for class, so i was locked out

doing a nuzlocke of pokémon silver and my whole team died to whitney

got rained on

i have a test on friday so i can't do anything fun until then since i can't afford to get anything below a B in this class

Being busy studying at university and doing stuff.

i started the college life not too long ago, and it's alright... i absolutely hate waking up at 6:45 tho

Currently couch surfing at university accommodation in Cardiff and Bristol after being unable to get a lift home from Carmarthen after spending 2 weeks in Malaysia.

That's a lotta locations in a short space of time, and this last week was an entirely impulsive decision since I have nothing better to do at home, except maybe find a job. Pretending to be a Fresher again is nice though, plenty of freebies.

The engineering meme caused my second oldest brother to drop out of college entirely. He wanted to do something with his hands and he loved robots. He goes into mechanical engineering and the thought of sitting on a computer for eight hours a day doing excel made him lose his mind.

I understand the frustration and bleak outlook on life. You're in debt studying some bullshit thing you hate just to get some shitty job so you can get out of debt. But things will get better. You'll make connections and move up in the world, and with enough drive and ambition you can make it somewhere. You can solve your problems, it's within your power to solve your problems. You just need to put yourself out there. But trust me it's the worst feeling in the world to know no matter what you do, it's out of your hands. Or that you'd have to take extreme risks so things will change, and even then there's extremely low odds of succeeding.

I'm not saying my problems are worse than yours. I'm just saying recognize that you can change things for the better. It's not the end of the world if things go bad. I've seen a lot of people start over late in life, and they didn't have to do bad things to make it happen. Have some faith in yourself.
