Huh, quite the cozy lil joint you got here.

Sweet another japaneses car enthusiastic.  Dream build?

Man, that's a tough one. I only have some vague ideas right now. I'm still looking for a small hatchback (not a Civic) that I could turn AWD, lower + widen and drop a strong engine into, a sort of rally/urban hybrid. I think that could be quite fun. I've also been thinking about how feasible it would be to drop a 1GZ-FE into a Supra or Skyline, somewhat like Smokey Nagata's Supra build. I want to do something with a Kenmeri Skyline at some point, but I'm not sure what.

All that said, I wouldn't pass up the chance to own a classic Challenger, Charger or Barracuda.

I would maybe consider a Mk1, 2  golf or a Ford Focus model or a Escort.   


Top of my dream built list would be a 1969 240z with an (2.0 L RB20DET I6 Turbocharged) from an R32 or a 2.5 L RB25DET Turbocharged I6 (GT-T) from a R34.

Alot of good ideals for built you have there.  Unfortunately me been from NA we don't get many hatchbacks here so my responses are going to be limited.

I would maybe consider a Mk1, 2  golf or a Ford Focus model or a Escort.

I'm not too into European cars, and I'm thinking a bit smaller than a Focus. More like a Swift, Aygo or Pulsar GTIR. 

Top of my dream built list would be a 1969 240z with an (2.0 L RB20DET I6 Turbocharged) from an R32 or a 2.5 L RB25DET Turbocharged I6 (GT-T) from a R34.

I like it. RB engines are great to work with as long as you get used to where everything is. I can't imagine that parts for them are too common where you are though.

You give an European engineer an engine that has displacement of min 4.8L they can easily get more then 345 out of it. 

But the one thing I do american car marker great bang for your buck.  2004 Vett Z06 hardtop had a price tag of 51,585. Alot cheaper then European sport car.  The sheer brutality and barnyard engineering can be fun.
