Whilst this Dr fellow sounds like a pleasant enough chap, his aims are a bit diverged from the proper cult mechanicus.

I'm not too familiar with this universe and setting, but if sentient machines have already been created and the doctor is one of them then by all means establishing mechanical superiority over the fleshy vermin is to be applauded e.e
