Need some help

My mom, being the noob that she is at computers, clicked to download Windows 10 but I stopped it. Now everyday the screen comes up, giving me an hour to prepare for the download but I always delay it. Its starting to get annoying. I've realized that I don't really need Windows 10 so that's why I don't want it.

How do I stop the screen from coming up permanently?

I think I figured it out.

I cancelled my reservation. Hopefully that stopped it.

I read somewhere online that Windows was forcing an update on all of their newer devices (and some of their older models). Not sure how to stop it.
