Need help with a laptop screen

Now something is wrong with the pixels, the old screen got damaged so we bought a new one, installed it and a day later noticed there was an off line of pixels.....now it's not like what you'd expect, its not a weird colour line but like an overlapping line.

What would cause that? Has anyone ever seen this before, and does anyone know any fixes for it?

hm, I don't know much about PCs so you'd be better off asking someone like Kenny or on sep7 Skype. If you don't want to do that, then I'm sure someone will be on in a few hours who can help you. Sep7 is a bit dead right now due to the hour and day.

Your best bet would be to try another screen, if it persists then it might be an issue with your screen connections if not then the replacement panel was probs faulty
