If you're still here you may want to look into the GTX 960 and see if you can get on on sale. In some games it's better than the R9 280 and in some games it's the same or a tiny bit worse. It's up to tastes though.

Why would I want to buy the GTX 960 over the R9 280 when both are better than the other at different things? You said a tiny bit worse, but how much better would it be? Also, is it compatible with the other parts? I'm guessing that all graphic cards are compatible with every PC, but I have nothing to back this up.
Change the video card to Nvidia and you're golden.
