You either die a hero or live long enough to become Mythic..
Honestly a Silverado does a great job tbh

Goodness gracious, great balls of lightning!
Dodge Ram SRT10

Nothing screams "MURICA!" more than a truck with a Dodge Viper's massive 8.3 liter 10-cylinder engine.

Excuse me, I'm full of dog poison
Stay away from rangers, too light in the back and they get zero traction.

Just find something 4wd, Subaru wagons are God's gift to snow trekkers.

tbh the old nissan/datsun hardbodies were probably the best small truck on the market in their day. The 3 liter v6 was both highly capable for it's size and practically bulletproof.
Also, if Toyota Tundras are good enough to wage Jihad in, then they're good enough to war against moose in canada.

But really OP, you want a first gen Chevy S10 or GMC Sonoma with the 4.3 liter L35 engine. That thing can be worked to an easy 250+hp without breaking the bank, you can hit 300 with some money thrown in to forced induction.

People have asked before, and yet again I recommend a Land Rover Discovery.

Late 90s models are classic as fuck, have 4wd and are capable of trekking through just about anything.

Plus there's a bucket seat in the back so you can sit in the trunk parked at the river or something.

The new ones are just inflatable bmws, but 80s and 90s models are built to handle terrain, and they're built like tanks.

Parts are hard to come by though, and you will probably be needing to come by them often.
