Did "the internet" actually get enraged, or did some people make posts on social media? Didn't we just go through a phase about taking social media comments as news at face-value, and learn that it's a dumb thing to do?

It sounds stupid as Hell but yeah. The guy's humor is based around him being a cynical asshole and everyone else being stupid. He does another series where he pulls questions for an advice columnist and gives them advice he thinks they really need.
