The only thing extraordinary about it is Ledger's performance. Bale is alright, two face was unnecessary and not really wanted, the action was terrible and didn't feel like a superhero movie should (Iron Man did). The only reason I rewatch the movie is for Ledger, and even then Hamill's joker was better, despite being a cartoon.
