My dog passed away

My dad was by her side all night and tried giving her medicine but it was clear she was at her end. Today she walked to her favorite spot where she would always lay down and sleep and took her last breath right there. We buried her in that same spot.

I've been listening to the heaviest music I got and been holding back tears for a couple hours now.

I'm sorry to hear that. Seems a lot of people are losing pets these days. Really sucks.

I love dogs but I don't think I will get another one any time soon. Having another dog in my backyard wouldn't feel right.

It really does feel like we just lost a member of our family though as she was with us for a lot of years. My dad got hit the hardest and he's been completely quiet ever since she died. He always took care of her when she was sick and had other problems.

That`s lot for a dog, you probably took good care of her. My cats usually got lost, which is not suprising, because there are lot homeless dogs and there is road near my house, also I heard some people stealing cats.

When you through so much with your dog and he/she's always there for you no matter what, that's a loyalty you never find in people. The fact you loved her back as much and think of her as irreplaceable shows how good a life you gave her.

It's hard to move on from death but you'll be ok eventually. It'll never be the same again and you'll always feel like a part of you is missing. But you'll have the good memories to keep you going.

Thanks for that Chally. I needed that to help me get through this emotional rollercoaster.

It hasn't been easy, but this for sure helped me a lot.
