Sorry to hear it. We have our share, unfortunately. Though it's good to hear it's a Witness based one and not one of those cut your balls off before you kill yourself to get to the mother ship cults.

I have given thought to the Mormon polygamy cults. Sure it's frowned on, but being married to multiple subservient women? Even if they're ugly... you still get options.

When he had a falling out with this group briefly and was back home he seemed way more talkative, positive, ambitious. His priorities weren't all outta whack. Plus they limit your internet access, they "pay for everything" and put you to work. If you have no money then you are dependent on them.
