It works, but the counterwight is the thing that's supposed to make the telescope stable. I'd have to hold a 6 pound weight while looking at things. And my 20mm lens is obviously broken, sadly. So I guess I'll need to call later today and ask for a replacement and the 2 lb counterweight.
