Breaking my wrist and the after math of having my wisdom teeth surgically removed.

Also, having my kneecap decide to move out of place and allow my leg to bend a way it shouldn't.

I think the combination of psychological trauma and physical pain probably made it seem significantly more physically painful than it actually was but an irregular heartbeat and anything that increases it even in the slightest is still extremely painful.

Other than that, probably be that time I crashed my bike and slammed into a metal pole so hard that my body went into shock and I couldn't move. The bruise was...pretty gnarly.

Also that one time I had the back of my head operated on because they found something they thought might've been cancerous. The anesthetic didn't work at all.
soooooo

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.
Dislocated my kneecap thrice, first time hurt the most because blood build up in it causing pressure. Had to get a needle sticked between to get it out.

Both probably? Hah. All the blunt force trauma avoided my head region so I was conscious through the whole thing. It was dark a car's headlights fucked up my vision long enough for me to not see the two poles linked together by a chain as I rode into it full speed and basically whiplashed on it while somehow keeping my hands on the handlebars to the bike in a death grip.

All I could feel was pain and at the same time it felt like I couldn't feel at all. It also took me what felt like an eternity before I could move again and getting back to where I was staying at the time was horrible.

If I'm not here, I'm doing photography. Or I'm asleep. Or in lockdown. One of those three, anyway.

The current titlebar/avatar setup is just normal.
Fracturing my wrist was pretty bad, from what I remember. Had to sleep on the couch because I used to be top bunk, and I used to fidget a lot in my sleep so I'd constantly wake up at ungodly hours in pain after rolling onto my cast.

Close second would be having two injections in the roof of my mouth for localised anesthetic while they removed some teeth so they'd move around a bit when I got braces. That was a shitty 18th birthday present.

Bike accident in 2006. Had my entire left side scrapped up. Oddly enough I haven't busted a bone yet. I've fractured a bone before. Not fun.

It could've been a lot worse. I could've hit my head and I somehow didn't break any bones despite all the really bad brusing. My stomach and pelvis absorbed the majority of the hit...
So did someone just steal your luck or was it never there in the first place? ._____.

I was in a pretty bad car accident some years ago. I was traveling 50mph down a two lane road approaching an intersection. This intersection was a two way stop, not a four way, and I had no stop sign to stop at. Some lady on the right hand side started impatiently creeping out into the right lane, despite seeing me clearly coming down the road. I see this and try to anticipate her stupidity by moving the left hand side of my lane and getting ready to maneuver as best as possible. Well, it didn't pay off. Right as I beginning passing her, she floors on the gas too early and clips my right hand side, veering my car almost entirely sideways and onto the sidewalk. I collided with a street lamp just behind the driver's side door, ricochet off and spin a couple more times before finally stopping in the middle of both lanes on the road. I lost consciousness when I hit the lamp, but my injuries were pretty extensive-

Basilar skull fracture with a large laceration running from the back of my ear running up to my left temple.
Several fractured ribs that caused a flail chest and a pneumothorax. Thankfully, it never became a tension pneumothorax.
Dislocated left shoulder with a compound fracture of the collar bone and hairline fracture on my ulna.
An iliac crest pelvic fracture on the left side with shortening, left femoral head fracture, sprang ankle, and a moderately sized avulsion on my left calf.
A ruptured spleen with internal hemorrhaging that presented with some abdominal rigidity and multiple bruised organs.
Other cuts n bruises etc.

The lady who caused the accident was uninjured.

First day of woodwork, I chiselled hard right into my fucking hand

I had an ingrown toenail but I'd seen what the surgery was like and I was too scared to get it fixed so I lived with it for about a whole agonizing year until it went away

I got my hand caught between the breakfast bar and the stool, and the gap was tiny like proper tiny. My hand felt like it was being crushed by a stamping machine and I couldn't reach the little lever thing so I was stuck there feeling like I was actually going to die.

Burned all up the back of my calf from a motorbike exhaust after I fell off and it landed onto me.

Falling onto the metalwork frame that was being set up for the decking in the back garden. I couldn't breathe.

Falling straight down onto a wooden beam during P.E. My nads hurt for days.

Hmm...
I got a cavity filled by an apparently incompetent dentist and he trapped decay inside the filling after failing to drill all of it away a few years ago and like half a year ago it basically hit the root and nerves of the tooth and it felt like I was chewing on nails every time I ate or breathed through my mouth until I got a root canal to fix it.

That's pretty much the worst physical pain I've had.

I've had some decent hits before. Fractured foot down the middle and stuff. Micellaneous hard knocks, that sort of stuff. The absolute worst one I remember isn't too gruesome. But it hurt.

So, I was working on one of my construction jobs. And there's this ladder going up to the roof of the building. It's a one story building. So it's about 10 feet up. And me, being the untrained newbie, didn't check the ladder. Somebody else before came along and didn't set it up right.

So, as I climbed the ladder with my tool belt and whatever hunk of shit I was carrying up there, the ladder started to slide. I was at the top of the ladder as it started to fall sideways. So, out of reaction, I reached out for whatever I could. I found the stone edge of the building's rooftop. Didn't hold. Skinned my hands on the way down.

My feet hit the ground, the shockwave of landing went up my legs and I just collapsed into the sand. Roughly an 8-7 foot drop. Extremely lucky I didn't break or shatter anything.

But the shockwave, as it went up my legs, was like....I don't know. Up my legs, through my knees, and up into my torso. Knocked the wind out of me instantly and I just flopped over onto the ground. Everything hurt. I couldn't stand for about half an hour and my hands were bleeding all over the place with sand in them. Like, every part of me felt like I got ran over by a train.

And to top it all off, my side was punctured by the claw end of my concrete hammer when I landed and basically just rolled over dead. It was a good three or four weeks before I could move without my bones feeling they got hit by a sack of anvils.

I woke up on a Monday with horrific backpain and it continued through till the next week. Turned out I'd moved some plates around somehow and my doctor has forbidden me from running for the next five months and from heavy lifting for the next eleven months.

Fell off a longboard on the way to one of my classes: all my weight went onto my knee.  Brushed it off, and walked about a mile no problem.  Halfway through class, I cross my leg and feel + hear a snap.  I got really dizzy and spent the next 30 mins in a calc lecture trying to focus and not puke on my desk from the pain.

Then I tried to straighten my leg and stand up, and could barely do it.  For about a month or two, I felt pretty intense pain for every time I bent or straightened my knee.  Such an anti-climactic injury compared to the other ones I've had, but it was so much more painful and lasting than the others.

I might have an up and coming contender for pain though. Depending on whatever my mystery eye condition is, if it's the one me and the docs think it is, then one of the more common methods of treatment is injecting shit into my eyes via needles.

My grandmother had needle injections into her eyes for her leukemia. And what she described wasn't pleasant.

I'm also in pain a lot just by doing nothing. As in a burning-like aching pain in my upper back.

I should probably go to the doctors about it.
