Cheerful topic for a sunday evening

What was the single most painful moment in your existence this far?

That one moment that you just wince looking back at.

Mine, contains needles for the squeamish

For me it was partial nail avulsion surgery, treatment for ingrown toenails.
It all sounds like fairly routine and mild stuff, right up until they stick a needle in between your toes and keep on injecting anaesthetic until you want to scream. Injections are never pleasant, blood tests are a little bit shit but fuck me sideways that was agony.

The best part was, the anaesthetic didn't work on me.

So they had to do it again.

And again.

And again.

It was the fourth injection where I couldn't feel it anymore, but sweet jesus why.

THEN THEY HAD TO DO THE OTHER FOOT TOO ;_______;

on the plus side though, despite the nurses saying to just stare at my phone or something I sat up and watched the operation <_<
It's kind of weird watching people stick pliers, bolt cutters and scalpels under your toenail and it not hurting.

Pretty unpleasant all around though, so now I try not to wear socks as much as possible <_<
I don't want a repeat of that day, ever.

Was riding my bicycle, fell off, landed on and skidded on my knee, could see my knee cap, thats as bad as it gets for me.

The blood was in my eyes and as you'd imagine I was in a considerable amount of pain. Probably the most brutal thing that's happened to me so far.... <.<

This is going to sound really corny, but broken heart syndrome. I couldn't eat for like 3 or 4 days and anything that started stressing me in the slightest made my hate rate and breathing because really fucking painful. It felt like merely existing was painful, which at the time it apparently was because I had so much stress that it completely fucked up the way my heart was pumping. He's a doctor and works in intensive care, he was also a medic in the Army/Airborne. So he's good at what he does fam

I've had seven surgeries, but the worst one was when I had to have a drain sticking out of my back ;____;

I had to go home walking around with a surgical drain sticking out of my butt for a week

it wasnt physically painful

but my dignity hasnt recovered since
