That's such a pity, I didn't follow his work, or RWBY, but the talent he showed in his Dead Fantasy series is something not often seen.

That'll be sorely missed I think.

I did watch the first season of it and found the quality to be amazingly bad, after going to watch Monty's solo Dead Fantasy videos.
If RWBY was as shaky as it was with his talent behind it, they might as well drop it, in my opinion.

He probably had notes written down with a basic idea of what to do for the next season or so. Assuming they can get a skilled enough animator, Rooster Teeth could potentially continue the series.
