Sure, a mentor is always good, but being able to say you formed yourself and your own style goes with a lot more merit.Which is why I think that having some dedicated peers would be very great as well. However, I don't care for the 'merits' of learning everything myself. That is meaningless to me and my own skill. I'd just appreciate the wisdom of someone with experience who could criticize my work.As for that heavy mind of mine, I'm not one to put my own baggage on the table like that. I open up when people inquire, as rare of an occasion as that is.Well, then consider my offer and friendly inquiry. A genuine one too.And I get your points, I see that the experience and wisdom is invaluable, so I can't argue that.Seek out peers on this website and see where it takes you, no harmIn doing so Eh, I suppose the very nature of not displaying the real depth of my thoughts and interests until asked to share it is what keeps me from getting to know any of you any more personally.Honestly, though, I'm not sure where to begin with that sort of thing. My life isn't much worth talking about when it comes to entertainment and my interests can be very niche.

Tell that to someone who makes $9 an hour.
Doesn't matter to me, I will always find learning and talking to another person entertaining. There's no doubt it will be interesting because our interests are very varied and different. It's a conversation id personally enjoy, but it's ultimately up to you if your comfortable with it. If you are, feel free to PM me at any time
Quote from: RomanGladiator on March 02, 2015, 11:12:40 PMTell that to someone who makes $9 an hour.If someone can tell me that who makes $0 an hour, and has been unemployed for months, then there's truth in it.
Yeah yeah whatever. You can keep preaching all you want but you're still prancing around on a regular basis bragging about how great your life is and that's mostly due to the fact that you're supposedly quite wealthy. All I see is someone who's incredibly naive and hasn't faced a lot of the basic struggles of life and yet tries to act like he has.Money is still an essential part of life and you suffer a lot if you're struggling to make enough of it.

What are you trying to get at? If there's anyone that's spoiled here, it's you. Your parents bought you a McLaren P whatever the hell it is.

You can be penniless and still find things to be happy about. If you don't you'll probably kill yourself, and there's an awful lot of poor people roaming around for them to have all killed themselves yet. But the thing is, nobody wants to be in a situation where they wake up every morning and say "oh hey, I've got no house, job, or money, but I still have my life!"Ever.

I get that some of you guys are trying to refute BC but what exactly are you trying to refute? Albeit he's a guy with no money troubles and two cars more expensive then the majority of our houses, but there's still wisdom in recognizing that money isn't absolute. The fact that he has money doesn't negate that nor does that fact that money is the driving force behind our current societal structure.
