Oh, hey.
I'll tell you that right now. A lot of you take me as the stereotypical rich fuck boy. And because of that a lot of you have grown to dislike me. Well, let me be totally honest. Sure, money buys me the cars I want and adore and that I drive. But in all honesty, i could be just as happy without them. At the end of the day it really is just a car. I damn love the machines that sleep in my garage, but they aren't worth more then, let's say, a person. Or a family. Or someone's well being or someone's happiness. What's funny is all of you would jump to the conclusion that all I care about is money and money is everything.

Well, fuck money. Money, at it's core really does fuck up society, and it fucks up people. When you value paper over another human being you see how truly dark and evil it can be. You don't even need a lot of it to act that way.

I'm doing the same things I planned to do before all of this. I'm still going to college, still planning to learn all the things that truly interest me. A few of you complain that you feel you waisted your life with school and what you studied. Honestly, it's not because of any of that. It's because of your drive.

You like writing? Fuck what the world says, write. Write the best damn book you can make and be damn proud of it. Publish it, and make money off something you truly enjoy. It's possible. More then possible.

I know getting a job nowadays isn't a walk in the park, and so many of you knock yourself down because of it. I know both incredibly, and shit people that can't find jobs. People that are so responsible that get no luck. But they don't give up, they perserve and they make their way back up. Your life is what you make of it.

When you genuinely put your heart and soul into everyday, and into pursuing what YOU want, not what society tells you, then your happy. And along the way, who knows, someone could see you and help you along your path. The world works that way.

STEM fields are all good and nice, and if you really want money and want to buy your way into happiness (this is for people who only do it for that reason, not because they like it) then go for it. You'll be miserable for a decade but hey, it'll pay off.

To those of you who truly want the path you see, go for it. Your young, I'm young, we can take risks. Only when you grow older is when you begin to become more methodical. So write, paint, sing, do what your heart desires.  And somewhere along that path will you hit the point where it all works out.

If you live life doing what people tell you and by shooting yourself down and suppressing who you are, you aren't living at all.

So live. Money isn't everything, Happiness is.

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.

Am I saying money doesn't have a grasp on aspects of your life? No.

Debt and all that can really fuck you over. But you have to work your way through it. Put your head in the ground and get through it.

Well in regards to a career, I want to do something with art. I'd love to sell my work but I need a lot more exposure and practice before I feel ready to try that out.

Sadly I'm fairly out of practice not having any real friends or acquaintances that share my interests to grow off of stunts my drive.

Oh, hey.
I never understood people's obsession with money and being rich; sure I make jokes a lot of you and giving me money, but I really don't care for money all I know is that it's a necessity; saying that dough I like ya BC your one of my favorite posters here, I like how you talk to us like equals; you don't keep the fact that your rich a secret and you always openly tell us about your expensive cars, instead of "nah I don't want to tell them about the expensive stuff that I buy because, I don't want people to know how poor they are"

Thanks dude, I appreciate it.

And yea. I honestly think half of you are better then me, because I value person over what you come from. I don't think I'm better then anyone here, and I have no intention of treating anyone like a lesser. It's stupid and pointless and unnecessary

Motivation flows like molasses with so much on my mind.

But, truly, what I would really like (albeit some dedicated 'peers' would be very nice as well) is a mentor.

If there's anything you need to get off your chest I'm more then happy to talk it out with you mate. I know how much a heavy mind can bring you down.

And you never know, you could have a connection with someone and feed off eachother. Sure, a mentor is always good, but being able to say you formed yourself and your own style goes with a lot more merit.

Agreed 100%. its all about your mind. A poor man can be much happier than a millionaire living in a mansion. My friends joke that I'm going to become a monk in Tibet haha

This is also hard for me to reinforce because my family has a good amount of money but I still believe I'd be happy without it

I'm not going to say I disagree, but it's much easier to say money isn't everything when you have enough that it isn't a daily concern for you.

Which is why I think that having some dedicated peers would be very great as well.

However, I don't care for the 'merits' of learning everything myself. That is meaningless to me and my own skill. I'd just appreciate the wisdom of someone with experience who could criticize my work.

As for that heavy mind of mine, I'm not one to put my own baggage on the table like that. I open up when people inquire, as rare of an occasion as that is.

And your right, that's a valid argument. But I'm taking it from what I see in terms of the other members of my family (cousins and such). They hardly have any money, yet the thrive and pursue. They found what makes them happy and don't look at money as a limiter. Sure, they would love to go on vacations and buy all these things. But what they do is they enjoy what they have, and the money they make they save for the holidays. I really respect that

And I get your points, I see that the experience and wisdom is invaluable, so I can't argue that.

Eh, I suppose the very nature of not displaying the real depth of my thoughts and interests until asked to share it is what keeps me from getting to know any of you any more personally.

Honestly, though, I'm not sure where to begin with that sort of thing. My life isn't much worth talking about when it comes to entertainment and my interests can be very niche.
