It seems everyone has forgotten about the existance of Phazon and the X Parasite. If the X gets loose or Phazon ends up corrupting the Reapers or the Flood or worse yet the X parasite, the whole Galaxy is fucked.

I don't know enough about metroid. I do know precursors and forerunners give Star Wars a run for its money
