I'm an INTP
The test might be bullshit, but tests are an instrument to measure something, or a way to access a certain part of something. The MBTI isn't meant to be taken at face value. It is however doing a good job at classifying people as different types, it just fails to incorporate personal lives into it. I've met all kinds of people, and some are clear XXXX, whereas others are hard to guess, but when I get the answer, I go to socionics and check out our relationship. 90% of the time it's eerily similar to what is happening. ENFP and INTP make the laziest couple, and that's what's been going on with an ENFP friend and me. ESTP and INTP are good friends until that one thing pops up and it's a relationship regress. These are all things I've experienced.
People with a certain type won't act like it's explained there, because there are too many scenarios. What the test is good at however, is that someone like me, an INTP, will like designing systems or making up rules and spot discrepancies.
