Yeah that was a while back. It's pretty good but I prefer their demo. I don't dislike it, though.

I feel the same way about Vektor. Their best songs were in their demos, then they ruined all the suspense, dynamics of the demo when they decided that they just wanted to do this retarded thrashy thing. It's no wonder no one even cares about them anymore. I mean, yeah they had something good, I thought they were good at the time. The only thing that really stuck with me though was destroying the cosmos from their demos, plus a couple other songs from their demos.

Vektor were pretty flavor of the month. Most Thrash "revival" bands are like that. They have a little schtick that gets old after a while.

Yeah, I was just attached to them because I loved their demos before they even got big or released a full length. So I was excited to see them get big when they were pretty unknown and I liked them before hand. They really don't mean that much to me anymore, but I still have a vektor t shirt, which I think has pretty cool artwork on it. I wouldn't wear it though, not only because I don't really care for vektor, I just don't feel comfortable wearing band shirts.

No one wants to even look at you if you're wearing a band shirt in public. It makes me uncomfortable, it makes me feel like I'm a target. I have so many band shirts, autopsy, brighter death now, timeghoul, nuclear death, atrax morgue, dystopia, weekend nachos, no trend, sun city girls, SPK, throbbing gristle, lifelover, a few others I can't remember off the top of my head. I mean, I'm proud to own these shirts and all, but it's just depressing. I always end up buying shit and not even giving a fuck about it eventually.

Why do people like Portal? It seems like a really bad attempt at esoteric metal like Demilich or Disembowelment. It's nowhere near that good, it's trying to be that but it fails.

Dude, I practiced the drums so fucking hard today. I just put it on like 80 bpm and just played 4 taps every beat, with my left hand for like hours. My right arm is stronger than my left arm because I'm right handed, so I focused on my left arm. I gotta get fast so I can play metal drums behind whatever I write, dude.

I listened to a couple motorhead albums when lemmy died. They kind of depress me to be honest. Trying to be cool with that kind of ultra macho hard living type of shit, it just makes me feel like life really fucking sucks.
