Absurd always seemed really trite to me, I'm sorry I don't "get" a generic black death metal band, with the tag of national socialist. I also think that bathory in general is meh. I've listened to every bathory album, I think generally their early stuff is the best. I find viking or pagan inspired music to be so fucking boring. It always seems like metal artists fetishize that stuff, it just leaves me sitting there feeling like wow, what do I have to gain by watching this circle jerk. It just sounds uninspiring, whenever I hear artists do the whole muh viking paganism thing..

I'm just downloading a shit load of jazz albums, then listening taking in a ton of them at a time.
