Welsh has spaces in between; it's just that with place names they stick it all together and that fucking village changed its name to have the record. It's literally describing the place.

E.g. Llandudoch is St. Dogmaels ("Church of Dudoch"), Aberteifi is Cardigan ("Next to the river Teifi").

Llan = Church, Aber = (Next to)River.

You won't really need to know this though; it's a relatively near-dead language on par with Irish.
