With the exception of Verbatim, these were tried before and all ended poorly.

I invoke the current mods to lock this thread.

I would do a fine job, but that'd be it. Nothing interesting about it, and thus I don't see why you'd choose me. I'm not particularly popular with users in a positive way, nor in a negative way.

I've already accepted that I'd be an uninteresting mod. If I were given the mod position twice, I'd give it to Comms and Challenger

Verb perhaps if he settles his argumentative nature down a bit, I don't think it's quite a good thing for a mod to get into super heated discussions with other members

I wasn't here for that, but I doubt they did anything that couldn't be easily fixed.

While I appreciate your shilling for the closet scalie and the Canuck, they were not received well with the community and it was decided that the best course of action was to remove their mod status.

I've heard other things about their moderation, and you've still yet to inform me of why they were received poorly.

The moderation has been more strict in the past at times, particularly in Rocket's case this is what helped fry his ass to a nice golden-brown.

In one instance that I can recall, RC and some other user were joking around in a thread where the title/OP called RC out(at the time making threads calling out other users was generally forbidden). The other user got bannu'd by Rocket(maybe RC was given a warning, can't recall), at which point RC and maybe some other users complained about Rocket being "no fun allowed" and generally bad at his position. I'm sure there were other cases, but there was so much drama and idiocy on this site at the time I can't remember.

TBlocks was also in charge of the Sep7agon plug.dj room which a bunch of people hated on him for in there, can't really remember why. He was also upgraded from Monitor to mod for a while, I don't recall him enjoying it, and he didn't keep the position either.

My, my... How history obscures the details. Rocket and I were with Yutaka in the running to be mod when the Monitor role was phased out the first time.
