Inmate on inmate justice is not justice, nor should it ever be encouraged. Criminals don't care that the person they're beating/raping did x but rather just want an excuse to beat and/or rape someone with public approval.

I don't think of the death "penalty" as a punishment, though. I just think some people deserve to die, and this guy most certainly deserved to die.

Should definitely be death but it's in the best interest of the US to rule life imprisonment. Having him become a martyr would cause more problems. There going to give that fucker life without a doubt.

Can't say I'm upset about the decision but I would have given him several life sentences because it's cheaper and he probably wouldn't last long anyway.

what makes you say this? 99% he would have ended up in iso in ADX Florence. no one would have had a chance to murder him there except the guards.
