So I made the mistake of talking about Destiny today

So on Facebook I'm in a group for Utah-based gamer folk. About three months ago, I stopped posting to the group because of the extreme toxicity of its members. Most of these toxic members are dudes in their thirties. They're also all huge Desticles.

Anyway, I made the following post this morning to try to break the ice:

I thought these Destiny guys might get a kick out of it. Well, did you notice that the post has nearly a hundred comments in one hour? You bet your ass they didn't get a kick out of it. They were appalled that I was talking about about their sacred game.

Anyway, this bullfuck went on for over an hour. Desticles spewing diarrhea of the mind all over each other and jerking off with it. Of course, until this God Among Men came along:

Immediately after that post was made, 90% of those dipshits just gave up. It's true that most of the nearly 100 comments were made by thirty to forty-year-old grown-ass men with wives and families. They're arguing with a college student over a really shitty game. The work of a Desticle is never done.

careful with the 360. back in beta destiny had a horrible habit of constantly booting people offline on 360. im not sure if they fixed it with the full release, but i feel like it's not something they could have fixed because they aren't using dedicated servers on 360

do you play a lot of pvp? a lot of raiding? i really have no idea how someone could spend that much time on destiny unless they were playing pvp

If this is actually doable, then kudos to bungie for making it so that pulling the fucking cable out doesn't drop you from the server but just trying to play the game normally will.
