Achronos actually isn't in charge anymore.

They've got some new guy whose account is only a year olds running the place now.
I knew Achronos would never let the site fall into such condition.

I discovered this while chatting with the webteam about some client issues that were rejecting imported CSS.

I'd more than believe that.

He was so adamant about not ever adding a like button to bold back in the day, and swearing up and down that b.net is not a social media site or an image board.

because they copy pasted reddit, and that's a popular website, so the layout must be good!

I wouldn't say that. The only similarity I really see with Reddit is the upvote system, but it's not like that's a very unique feature.

People have been saying the site was a reddit clone since before there was an upvote button though.
B.next was very similar to reddit, but b.lind is kind of just its own shitty monstrosity.

I can't even recall the last time I saw Achronos.

I don't want to come across as a Destiny hater, but the way the new Destiny fans took a shit all over the functionality of the site certainly was a nail in the coffin for me. Literally every section became about Destiny, #offtopic was the only one that was only kinda immune.

That, plus the fact that b.next brought the ability to make a new account with the same name while removing punishment for ban evasion, rendering bans virtually meaning less, certainly detracted from the quality of the site. At least previously there were small hurdles to go over in order to make a new account to get around a ban.
