Yep, bought the DVD when it came out, and the tank itself.

Though it has been two years
OT: Yeah, pretty good film. The cast was great and really the only gripe I have with the whole film was Brad Pitt's stupid fucking haircut. Otherwise, they did more than well enough on the historical side of things for a movie, IMO.

Only gripe was the squadron of SS being taken out by one tank. Weirmacht maybe, but not SS.Fantastic movie otherwise. Might watch it again now that you mentioned it.

A company or two would be a real possibility.Late war leadership was abysmal, with junior officers being promoted from any available stock, and ignorance of proper battlefield doctrine was very common, especially as experienced NCO's were being pulled away, promoted, and stuck in a tent planning ops instead of leading fireteams in the field.
Yeah. One thing I noticed when I watched it. Wondering if it was just me. I'm no expert on bullets. Was there any particular reason that almost all scenes with heavier caliber guns firing had a really off putting tinge of colour to them? And noticable too.YouTubeGuess it's not just me. Unless it's ignorance on my part as to bullet mechanics in older weapons, I feel like they hired an amatuer to do those effects.

One in five shots on your .30 and .50 were tracer rounds (officially, in doctrine anyway) and all the standard APC rounds for the Sherman had a tracer so help confirm shot placement.
Beginning good Middle fight scene good with the infantryTank fight scene was good other than the bounce at point blank from the tiger Last battle was just stupid. They had so many panzerfust you don't swarm charge a immobilized tank

Das, your cock worshipry of the SS scares me.
