Just fell in love all over again [Coffee Thread]

Bought a French press at an estate sale and wow is this the best coffee I've ever had.

I started with some Classic Swedish Gevalia, and it was divine.

Moved on to some Jet Fuel, by Coffee People, and the flavor is a little thinner, but the caffeine is through the roof, and unlike making it in my Keurig, I actually got all that caffeine to stick.

Def buying some whole beans tomorrow to grind and seek the perfect cup of coffee.

What do you drink?
How strong do you like it?
Cream and sugar?

I'm poor so it's all I can afford. Plus I don't have a coffee machine.

Personally, I really like the bitterness combined with the sweetness of sugar, so I enjoy it stronger than most would.

I'm more of a tea person.

I drink tons of coffee, but it's for energy way more than taste. I use a cup or two per pot, then drown every cup with cream and sugar.

You can get a French press for ten bucks and  Folgers in a big can costs about five.

If you've never seen one, its basically a beaker with a handle, and you pour hot water in, then stir in your coffee, and when you're satisfied with the strength, compress the lid, which pushes the grounds to the bottom.

It's cheap and easy, I'm surprised by how much money I've wasted on coffee makers.

Single origin beans through a burr grinder, into a French press. Black if sipping at home, bit of creme or sweetener if it's the morning brew meant to be chugged.

I just drink coffee, no time for fancy shit. I really dislike going in cafes because there's always like, fifteen fancy variants but no bog standard 'base' coffee.

No milk/ barely any milk, no sugar, no extras.

I didn't buy any coffee from the store this week because it's too expensive. All the really good coffee always costs more for some reason. I'm sick of buying the bulky 2 pound bargain bags and not even enjoying them that much. All the really good coffees come in the regular size bags, but those only last like a week or a few days. I like arabica coffee, and I use my drip coffee maker.

A french press is a great way to drink coffee, I add a tp of sugar and some milk afterwards because fuck drinking black it's gross

Depends on how much caffeine I need to keep me going, but I usually drink Blonde Roast since it has the most caffeine and the lightest taste. I usually add a splenda or two but usually I don't do creamer/milk I used to do a splash of soy milk when I worked at Starbucks.

Oh! and if you can afford the $20 a bag (which I know I can't) Deathwish IS AMAZING!
