That's why you take classes in community college, HS loves to make everything worse than it ever needs to be. I dropped AP European History when they were having me write an essay on the effects of coffee on the European Enlightenment for a third of our grade, while telling us with a straight face that this was preparing us for college.

I actually found Calc I significantly more difficult than Calc II, but that may just be because of different schools and all that.

They were college courses. I was enrolled at a nearby state college around the 10th grade and took classes there ever since.

I actually didn't have much trouble with Algebra, but Calc was so, so bad. I took Discrete instead of Statistics in my junior year, and it wasn't too bad.

And I'm a freshman in college at the moment

What year did you take Algebra I in?

ever since 8th grade, i've been falling apart in math. my weakest subject

It may have been because Calc I was at 7:30 in the morning and I slept through half the class, but I also found the algebra portions of it harder than the actual new calculus stuff we were taught.
