Hey everyone Jive Turkey here. Going to make a log here detailing my lean bulk this summer. I know it's not a bodybuilding forum but I'm comfortable posting pictures on Sep7agon and activity is always good. Plus it keeps me accountable. You guys can also ask me anything if you're curious about fitness/diet things.

My current physique

My plan this bulk is to put on muscle and stay as lean as possible. I'm actually going to be so on point with my diet and training that I'm hoping to LOSE fat % while I bulk up. I'd like to be at least 200lbs same body fat or less by August 5th. I cannot allow myself to gain any fat because august 5th/6th is a big summer festival and in addition to wanting to look good for it, my ex is going to be there and I need to look like a superhuman smh.

Training split will go something like:

Chest
Back/shoulders
Legs
Chest/triceps
Back
Shoulders/biceps
Rest

Subject to change based on how my body feels

Calories will be at 2700 starting off with
260g protein
230g carbs
80g fat

Those macros can vary by 10-15g daily.

Foods will consist of: Eggs, Protein Powders, egg whites, tuna, oatmeal, cashews, avocados, chicken breast, fruits, vegetables, olive oil, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and lots of Chipotle.

Supplements will consist of:

Whey Protein
Zero Calorie Monsters or preworkout
Digestive enzymes
Fish oil
Multivitamin/zinc
Possibly BCAAs
And the special secret supplements that I won't put into this log but y'all know what it is which will arrive next week hehe

What kind of shoulder exercises are your go-to?
I like dumbbell side raises, focused on using the elbows to come up instead of the hands. And a little higher than normal

And I love love high facepulls with the rope. I'm talking 6-10 sets per shoulder day

For the front I only do light dumbbell raises

Still doing 2700 on rest day?

I've got a powerlifting meet on June 24th then I need to do some serious cutting. TDEE 2500, planning to eat for maintenance on lifting days, and 1500 rest/cardio days but still hitting 1g protein/lb. 2 low/slow days (45-60min, 155 RPM), 1 HIIT day.

Also what's your opinion of Creatine?
Not as knowledgeable as OP but it's generally considered one of the most worthwhile supplements. I just started using it earlier this year and I've been seeing some significant strength gains.

Why do you drink sips instead of something healthier and more natural? Also what's your opinion of Creatine?
Sips?

And creatine is like the most studied supplement, it works pretty well in what it does. Personally I don't take it. The only time I took it was 4-5 years ago and it bloated my face HARD. But I was also at a higher body fat and killing mcdoubles and pizzas everyday. So even though I know better, I associate creative with face bloat smh

Yesterday I had one of the best leg days in my life. I was very deep in a flow state that got triggered by me going to absolute failure on my last set. I nearly threw up/passed out it was exhilarating. I've made it a mission to work so hard every workout that I get into flow.

Really upset about my diet though. I ate perfectly until about 11pm where for some reason I killed an extra 1100 calories. Didn't change my body composition too much but I need to cut that bullshit out it makes me feel terrible in the morning

Yeah creatine from what I understand helps you retain more water weight in your muscles, so if you're eating crap it makes sense that you'd bloat up. Diet is super important.

With creatine you'll get a good amount of extra muscular endurance as well. You can always drop it if you don't like it tbh

And honestly I love them, they taste bomb and make me feel hyped as fuck when I'm drinking a cold one driving down the road with music blasting. After work at like 11pm I go to the gas station, pickup a monster, then cruise down the empty roads to the 24hour gym. Favorite ritual ever

I know they're bad :/ I really need to ween myself off them

Today was good, did chest day with my homie at a gym I've never been to before. Got a week trial pass. According to him TONS of people from our old highschool go there so when they see me they're gonna be very surprised. Did chest, got a good pump strength went up. The lighting there was great should've taken a picture smh

All I can eat for the rest of the day is a protein shake smh. Final macros for the day are

230g protein
170g carbs
110g fat

Fucking great day today

My shipment came in the mail today :))) pinned 1cc, although it will take 2-3 weeks to kick in the placebo made me feel like a beast.

Worked out back. Hit a mid shin deadlift of 405lbs for 15 reps and then 455lbs for 10 reps. Shrugged the 100s for like 15 reps and they felt like nothing after the heavy deads.

My old gym bae was there too <3

Need to eat 120-130 more grams of protein and like 60g carbs and 20-30 fats. I think 14oz chicken with 2 cups pasta and 3 tablespoons of olive oil will fit that perfectly

Well it's more of a rack pull, mid shin. I'd take away a good amount of weight for those reps if I had the initial bottom part

Gym was fucking great today. Did chest, Amazing workout. My friend gave me a free scoop of this preworkout when I got there I will post a pic of it when I remember the name. Felt amazing but its really expensive. I was buzzing Hard still hours later at work.

Got compliments at work too since I still had a pump. Lots of guys asking me how long I've been working out etc. coworker asking for lifting advice

Pinned 1.6ml today in the am

Was a little more irritable than usual at work, but I only had slept 3-4 hours. Ate a lot and then took a nap and hit back. Crazy pump but I was literally so horny I ended to go home and jack off lmaaaaoo.

After I came I started getting a mild anxiety, that I still have now. It's almost like I'm slightly on edge 24/7 it's very uncomfortable, hopefully I get used to this.

Absolutely starving right now even though I hit all my calories. Could literally devour a large pizza and ive already eaten so much food. I'm also extremely horny still and will probably meet up some tinder chick. I feel a little reckless(not good)

I was doing it for a little bit but i didnt drink enough water for it. also that stuff is REALLY bad for your kidneys. i stopped bc my family has a history with PKD

I forgot about the absolute fucking rollercoaster of bipolar emotions that comes with having superphysiological hormone levels

I was very sad and anxious earlier, went for a long drive bad thoughts etc and now I'm in complete peace and love with the universe and how everything unfolds while singing with my windows down
