It's changed a lot here. Now it's just part of the second largest Metropolitan area in California. As in, you can walk 60 miles in a straight line and still be in the same metropolitan area. The town I live in though has done a pretty good job at preserving the historically old downtown though, which is a good thing. Other than that, it's sort of just suburb. :/Though LA's one is still far larger and more populous.
The building I live in is from the 1920's, there are black and white photos of of this area, during the 1920's hanging up on the walls in the dining area. I don't even have to post nothin' cause I'm living in it.If you peel off the layers on our walls you'll find wallpaper from the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50,s, and 60's.

We're not very far away from each other after all...No, I'm in the San Francisco metropolitan area. About 300 miles up north. But I live about 40-something miles down south of the city itself right next to this place called San Jose which nobody has ever heard of despite the fact that it's the 10th largest city in the entire country.>__>
