With Nico Nico Super Conference 2016 gearing up, director Hideaki Anno will be talking about his latest film Godzilla Resurgence. Twitter has flooded with pictures of a "ShinGoji" maquette at the event, giving fans a more detailed look at Godzilla's new, shockingly mangled and decidedly polarizing look.

Love it or hate it, the maquette's extreme detail gives us a more thorough look at the most mutated looking Godzilla design yet--Sporting what appears to be seven rows of spines and a massive, serpentine tail. There even seems to be a hint of inspiration from the initial, 1954 concept art of Godzilla's head resembling a mushroom cloud. Take a look below.

I actually watched it liberally when I was a kid.

I don't know why everyone hated Ferris Bueller, pretty good part in the movie tbh.

I don't like it. I getwhy they wanted to make him look more mutated or sickening, but it doesn't really work for me. My favorite Godzilla design is definitely the 2014 movie version.

Yeah the movie was very underwhelming (the fight at the end was amazing though), but I did like the design of Godzilla a lot.
