So my debit card was stolen.

So a couple days ago, I went to withdraw forty bucks from an ATM so I could buy something from a friend of mine, only to get a message that I didn't have enough money. You can bet your ass I was pretty confused, because I'm pretty sure there was at least 90 bucks in my checking account at that time. I scratched my nose, then went to check my account on my phone, only to read that I overdrew 500 dollars. See, now this was the weird part. I don't remember spending that much money on my fucking card. Either I was shitfaced drunk and that shit happened because I'm a fucking idiot, or my card got stolen, and the latter was the more likely of the two. Of course, by now, it's been settled, I cancelled my card, and had everything fixed. Thank god I found out about it a day later before the charges actually went through.

Now, the fact that someone stole my card and made me face my biggest fear wasn't the reason I was mad. I was mad at the fact that this motherfucker used my card at www.ramps.com and some sewing company. Who the fuck steals a card number, and USES IT AT RAMPS.COM. BUY YOUR MOTHERFUCKING KID AN XBOX OR SOMETHING, BUY A REALLY NICE PAIR OF SHOES. DON'T BUY SHIT AT RAMPS.COM. YOU FUCKING IDIOT.

that sucks man

what i do is i have 2 bank accounts, a debit account with a card and that only ever has around £100 and no overdraft. the other account is where i keep the bulk of my money but i don't have a card for it so it should be safe, whenever im running low on my debit i just transfer an appropriate amount.

Seriously though, that was by far the most autistic thing I've ever seen in my life. I was so disappointed with the guy who stole my money. IF you're gonna steal my money by the hundreds, at least buy something pretty with it.

i've gotten my credit card info stolen from paying for gas at a local station. some fucker rigged the card swiper to save people's info when they pay.

luckily i caught something was wrong early so i didn't actually lose any money
