Happy Birthday man, you having a party to celebrate? Even in Aus Twenty-Firsts are pretty big parties despite the legal drinking age being lower here.

Tbh I haven't really had much excitement for birthdays since I was ~9. I think it's more because of the lack of Friend involvement in my parties since I was a kid, as I'm pretty excited for my 21st now. Still definitely don't attach a whole lot of meaning to it though.

I've found they get a little scarier around halfway. I have to be philosophical about it. I'll be thirty next year and that's okay. It really is. 30 is the new 21. Better healthcare these days. I imagine that when I'm 30-something I'll be back to not giving a shit.
