That... Would have been an interesting twist... Too bad the studio didn't have enough faith in the movie to keep it a surprise.

My rule is: if I am excited for a game or a movie - I completely shield myself from any media that covers that movie or game (trailers included)

As soon as I saw that BioShock infinite is announced, I rejected all coverage of the game and only watched the trailers after I finished the game.

Halo generally has very good history of spoiler free trailers and generally just hypes the game. HTT is a good example.
If people can't get a spoiler-free trailer going, they have no business in making trailers.
