It's a movie that really makes u think

I loved everything about it, how aesthetically beautiful the visuals are and how well it resonates with the soundtrack. I also love how confounding it is to watch for someone who has never seen it before. It leaves you scratching your head, which is what I love the most about it.

the fact that such a movie was able to be created in 1968 is a big part of why it's one of my favorite films as well

if you like movies that make you think, i'd watch pretty much any david fincher movie

actually, you've no doubt seen fight club already

Excuse me, I'm full of dog poison
The Shining is also really good. It builds a sense of foreboding and dread that few films come close to touching.

Se7en is easily one of my favorite films of all time, maybe not as thought provoking as fight club but the tone it sets throughout is fantastic.

If you're in the mood for "what the fuck did I just watch?" A Scanner Darkly is excellent.

Momento, The Prestige, Shutter Island, Twelve Monkeys, Looper, No Country for Old Men, etc.

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.

2001 is probably the greatest movie ever made, if you liked that movie I highly Reccomend any movie made by Kubrick.

A Clockwork Orange is a great place to start next.
