is cheating on tests really that bad?

cause im doing it for tomorrow so i can excel at my dreams and pass calc. i mean, lets be honest, schools do say to use the resources around you to achieve, so.. i see no problem with doing so. im putting some formulas on my calculator and then sliding a small piece of paper in my lead pencil with a small definition and maybe some formulas cause we are made to remember a bunch of shit

its not that, i just cant memorize what the teacher gives us. i mean, im fine with memorizing a few formulas granted i can easily see them, but then we learn the definitions of them so, like, fuck.

I used to be pretty good at math, but later in high school I slacked hardcore. Ended up paying the T.A. so I'd pass the class, SMH it bit me in the ass my first semester of college though.

In my engineering program we had a lot of arab students that basically had a huge cheating network set up where they would pass answers during tests, copy all their homework and assignments, and pass down information about how to get easy grades. They were basically getting degrees for half (or less) the effort, and would often just show up for exams and skip class altogether.

The occasional test isn't really going to harm anybody morally speaking. But coming from a compulsive teacher, I'd recommend against making it into a habit.
